How to check body pH level?
To check your body’s pH level, follow these steps:
First, determine whether you want to measure your saliva or urine pH. Both methods can provide insights into your body's acid-base balance.
For saliva pH, make sure your mouth is clean and free from food or drink residues. It’s best to test in the morning before eating or drinking. Collect a small sample of saliva and apply it to a pH test strip. You can use pH test strips from Diagnox for this purpose. Dip the strip into the saliva or apply the saliva directly to the strip, then compare the color change to the provided chart to determine your pH level.
For urine pH, collect a fresh urine sample and use a pH test strip. Dip the strip into the urine sample and wait for the indicated reaction time. Compare the color change to the color chart included with the Diagnox test strips to determine your urine pH.
Maintaining a balanced pH level is crucial for overall health, as it affects various bodily functions. If you notice significant or persistent deviations from the normal pH range, it’s advisable to consult with a healthcare provider for a thorough evaluation and personalized advice.
Diagnox's multipurpose pH test strips can measure body pH levels as a urine or saliva test. You can check these strips out here.
