Step 1
Know what
you can't see.
you can't see.
An at-home FIT that checks for hidden blood in stool. The yearly colon screening you can do in ten minutes, without a waiting room
Colonox FIT Stool Test
Most people put this off.
Colon screening saves lives, and this is one of the easiest ways to do yours. Only takes fifteen minutes at home, with nothing to schedule and nothing to mail.
THE TEST
A clear answer, at home.
Polyps and other changes in the colon can bleed in amounts too small to see. This test looks for that blood, so you get a clear result to act on instead of a guess.
The same biomarkers used in clinical settings.
Colonox FIT is an over-the-counter fecal immunochemical test, also called a FIT or iFOBT. It detects human occult blood in stool and is used as an aid in finding gastrointestinal bleeding, including as a yearly colorectal cancer screening step for adults 45 to 75.
- Detects: human hemoglobin in stool, down to 45 ng/mL
- Results: read at 10 minutes, valid up to 30
- Prep: none. No diet changes, no fasting
- Sample: one bowel movement per test. Collection paper included
- Private: nothing to mail, no lab, no app
- Packs: 1, 2 or 3 tests
Tested the way it's actually used.
- 100% agreement between people testing their own sample at home and trained professionals testing the same sample (100 lay users, 3 sites)
- 99.6% agreement with an FDA-cleared reference FIT across 525 samples at 3 clinical sites
- 99.1% consistent results across 3 production lots, 3 sites and 2,205 tests
OCCULT BLOOD SCREENING
Not all blood is visible.
Hidden blood can be linked to several lower GI conditions.

Colonox FIT detects hidden blood in stool as an aid in the diagnosis of gastrointestinal bleeding. It is not a diagnosis, and it is not a substitute for the screening your provider recommends. Talk to your provider about your result.

Great way to check up on things between colonoscopy’s. I would advise everyone to keep tabs on this health care.

This test was simple, easy to use, and very affordable. It was good for peace of mind, or as a way of confirming the need for more intensive testing.

I’ll be blunt: I’m a hypochondriac. My latest fixation is colon cancer due to the increasing rates of diagnosis in younger adults. I’m not old enough for regular colonoscopies, nor do I have any health markers that qualify me for colonoscopies at my age. Plus I’m not going to go through the bowel prep unless my doctor tells me that it’s time for a colonoscopy. This kit does my brain a world of good through the reassurance of a simple fecal test. My husband and I plan to do one each year until we start regular colonoscopies. We still see our GI doctors annually, take psyllium capsules daily to per our doctor’s recommendation, we drink lots of water, and we work fiber into our diets regularly to reduce our risk of colon cancer. Even if this kit provides a false sense of security, we’re being proactive enough in our daily wellbeing that we’ll recognize them if any red flags arise in the future. It’s just nice to have some sort of tangible “security blanket” to help me combat my anxious thoughts whenever my hypochondria hits. You really can’t put a price on peace of mind.

My husband is at the age where they tell you to get a colonoscopy but he doesn’t want to, so I suggested we do this at home test first and if it’s positive we have one. This is a very simple test to do though. It is especially good for those that do not want to get a colonoscopy.

I have been paranoid so I take this test and since I can’t get an appointment until 3 months out, I will check it upon myself. I have a super faint line so I can’t see the blood in my stool but good enough for me to talk to my doctor. I messaged her now I hope she answers back. I took one test the first night and it gave me a faint line and the next morning which gave me an even more faint line. Either way both are positive to presence of occult blood and a way for you to skip the initial testing of colonoscopy.

Got this for my dad as he was having some issues. I’m a NP so I was finalist with how to use this. It was easy to use, instructions were easy to read, all things needed were included. If your looking for something to give you a generalized idea of blood, polyps, etc, then this test provides that.

If you're worried about GI issues I feel this is a great thing to have on hand, especially with 3 tests, you can be sure to get an accurate result. If you get a positive result you can go to your doctor with information rather than waiting. Having to do these through a doctor takes forever is a pain in the butt, no pun intended.

Straight forward and easy to use. Great for hubby who is a very private person and thinks mailing his stuff off will mean it is being tracked!

I am 52 years old and tested positive on this test twice. I plan on scheduling a colonoscopy as soon as possible.
